Chief in Drug Bust

It was the wrong coat at the wrong time. Chief Lawrence Paul was driving and was cold. He put on a coat that was in the car and unknowingly was now in possession of 7 grams of marijuana in his pocket. He was  later pulled over by police, who then noticed the plastic bag in his pocket.

Mi’kmaq Flag for Moncton

Pascal Pelletier, an aborignal businessman has asked the city of Moncton to fly the Mi’kmaq flag at city hall in recognition of the region’s Mi’kmaq heritage.
